Lovingly restored 8 bed / 5 bath and 3 kitchen mansion built in 1887 by one of Kansas city's (then) richest men, J.G. Peppard.
As you step into the Peppard House, complete with detailed period furniture, you will feel like genuine Victorian aristocracy.
Walk to great restaurants, shops, Kauffman, Sprint, and Convention Centre and P&L.

The house is built on 3 levels and can be split into three self-contained luxury apartments, one on each level.
Enjoy a gorgeous front deck with views of the Kauffman center and downtown and is perfect for enjoying your evening cocktails.
A grand Victorian staircase complete with Chandelier greets you in the foyer on the first floor.
A 3 King sized bedroom and 2 full bathroom luxury apartment with incredible historic charm will wow you on the first floor. Light the gas fireplace and enjoy a glass of wine during the winter months in the Parlor. Or soak in the clawfoot tub for that feeling of total luxury.
The grand staircase will take you up to another 3 king sized bedroom 2 full bathroom luxury apartment. The open plan kitchen, eating and lounge area is a show stopper featuring a beautiful lead-glass turret window and massive windows with views of downtown.
On the third floor a beautifully restored two bedroom, one bathroom apartment finishes off the over 5,700 square feet of living space. The 7th King size bed is here along with a day bed and trundle.
Enjoy the three open plan kitchens with attached eating and lounge areas - one on each floor.
TV, lightening fast internet, washer, dryer, kitchen full of cookware, and a great private courtyard are all available for your use.
There is an abundance of free street parking right out front.
This venue is not available for parties, but you will find no place better to get ready in luxury and walk to most of Kansas City's best night spots.
***Disclosure on security cameras: this home is set up as 3 separate apartments that have private entrances and all the amenities of 3 flats (kitchen, laundry, etc.) for our guests security, we have a camera in the shared foyer, and one at the rear common staircase. There are no cameras in the private, individual units. They do not capture noise. We also have an exterior camera on the front and rear porch.***

No Smoking Inside, NO PARTIES. No Gatherings. Be kind to the neighbors. Do not block their parking spots/driveways. If you BREAK THE NO PARTY RULE, you will be asked to leave and forfeit your rent. We have the right to assess a $500 fine if this rules are violated. This home is in a residential neighborhood so please observe the quiet times— 10:00pm to 7:00am.

We are available when needed but will not be at the house unless invited.

Summary: Beautiful house with so much room. Our daughter’s wedding was over the weekend and extended family stayed here with us. We had so much fun and everyone could spread out on all three floors. We spent a lot of time in the beautiful backyard and were able to host the rehearsal dinner thanks to the management. Fantastic house great location for us. It’s right in Crossroads, four blocks from our venue for the wedding ,six blocks from the hotel where everyone else was staying. Cannot say enough about how wonderful this house is..
