This lovely seven bedroom, seven bathroom heritage mansion in St Kilda West and is just a short stroll to St Kilda beach and some of Melbourne's best restaurants. Located in a beautiful, tree-lined street, it is perfect for corporate teams, and family and friends sharing time together and for special events. As soon as you step inside the large entry hall you will get a sense of history combined with modern comfort. Heritage features include tall ceilings and windows, ornamental ceiling roses and cornices, and original Victorian fireplaces (non-working). The house has recently been refurbished with new paint and carpet throughout. Modern features include designer light fittings, a large modern kitchen with European oven and gas burners, air conditioners in each living space and state of the art hydronic heating for year-round comfort. Set on a corner, natural light pours in through the large windows making for a warm and welcoming home away from home. The spacious bedrooms can be made up with either a king bed or split into two king single beds to sleep up to 14 individuals. Other living spaces include a large downstairs lounge and dining area, an informal library, separate powder room, an upstairs lounge, large upstairs veranda and pretty, outdoor courtyard with BBQ. There is also a fully equipped laundry and drying room. Three different tram routes are all very close by and will quickly transport you into the city, Casino and Convention Centre. If driving, we have two visitor street parking permits and there is usually free parking in nearby streets for other cars. Other key features include: - Freshly laundered linen and towels on arrival - Hairdryer and bathroom amenities in each ensuite - Free wifi - Free Platinum Foxtel (cable) television in each bedroom and lounge - 60” Smart televisions in lounge areas - Bose wireless speakers - Baby equipment on request – porta cot and highchair - A friendly host to meet you on arrival and available to assist and answer questions throughout your stay Please note that while we want you to enjoy your stay we ask you to respect this special space. This is not a party house and reports of dangerous or poor behaviour may result in eviction.
