Summary: This was honestly the first time I enjoyed staying at a vacation rental. We had a rental car and the location was perfect for getting to anywhere we wanted while generally avoiding much traffic. The space itself struck a good balance, feeling homey and lived in but not in a way that makes you feel like you’re invading someone’s space. It was also as clean as I would expect a hotel room to be. Actually since the jets in the tub were spotless, it was cleaner! We enjoyed the blackout shades in the bedroom, the darkness helped me sleep in for a change which is a huge plus on vacation in my book.
