Oceanfront Fire Island (Lonelyville - Dunewood) 2-Week Minimum Magnificent views - the best of the best, contemporary house built in the 90's. Rated one of the ten best island beaches in USA. ************************************************************************************* UPDATE COVID-19: Due to the Corona-virus, all guests must be tested within 3-days of check-in date. Proof of test results must be shown. There will be a 2-week minimum rental period. No guests on property other than who is listed in the lease within the last 5-days of the rental. I will also use UV-C light to scan surfaces, (including bicycles & beach chairs) and also use approved disinfectant as required. This house has a southern exposure, with lot's of glass, the intense UV sunlight should destroy much of the virus around the house on outside deck surfaces, furniture, etc. I will try to accommodate any individual special requests during this pandemic. ************************************************************************************* Getting there: 1-hour, 10-minutes by train, car or private van to ferry dock from New York City, or 15 minutes from Islip airport. Then it is just a 25 minute relaxing ferry boat ride to Fire Island. Less than a ten minute walk to house once arriving to the island. Car free island, only bicycles. A safe place for children. ************************************************************** Additional Usage Fees & Taxes 1. Electricity is metered. I do allow a $25. per week credit 2. Cleaning service at end of rental varies from $165. to $250. paid from the security deposit. 3. Security Deposit required for any damages, electric usage, and cleaning $1,000. at time of arrival. 3. There is a 3-percent tax for the rental cost to be collected on the day of arrival
