For those who like travel and adventure (1 Double and 1 Single Kayaks included) yet be close to everything, our spacious and fully equipped home on the water is truly unique.There's nothing like having the full amenities of a two-story home, while experiencing the tranquil lifestyle of living on the harbor in San Diego. Conveniently located on Harbor Island, we are only a few minutes from SD Intl Airport, Downtown SD, Balboa Park, Point Loma, Shelter Island, Coronado Island, Little Italy, Zoo and Seaward.
The space
Imagine enjoying your morning coffee from the comfort of your living room while watching the harbor come alive at sunrise? This is a very spacious, airy, open, clean Floating Home with over 1200 square feet of living space. There are shuttered windows throughout which allows for a comfortable sea breeze. There are also fans and a space heater on board if you need to adjust the temperature. Enjoy beautiful sunset views while seated on the walkway in front of our home away from home. There are fold out chairs available for use on the boat.
This two story houseboat has two bedrooms downstairs; a spacious Master Bedroom, with plenty of closet space, and full Master Bath, a second Guest Bedroom has a bathroom adjacent with a sink, toilet and a shower. There is also a stackable washer a dryer downstairs.
Upstairs there is a spacious private bonus room with a comfortable queen-sized pull out sofa. The adjacent family room has a TV with all the cable movie channels, a pull-out sofa, leather chair and foot stool, and a dining table that will seat 4 people. The kitchen is fully equipped with a refrigerator, microwave, electric stove, dishwasher, coffee pot, plenty of counter space, dishes and cookware. The kitchen sink has a water filter. Cozy blankets, pillows, and comfortable soft bedding will ensure a good night's sleep.

Outside of the homes amenities, you have access to the full-service comforts of the marina facilities. *Full access to Gated swimming pool including changing facilities, showers, BBQ, lounge chairs and more to enjoy.

Interaction with guests
You will be greeted by the local host upon your arrival so that you may be given an overview of the houseboat, the marina, local area attractions, and to answer any questions you may have. You may call or email them at any time to get help with anything or to ask questions.
Other things to note
On your first day of arrival, you'll find the kitchen stocked with light food items, coffee and a welcome bottle of wine/prosecco. Please enjoy our second home and the beauty of this special and unique location. Remember you are on the water and will hear sounds of nature and occasional plane passing by. If you are a light sleeper this might be a factor to consider before booking.
We provide a free 2 person kayak. Release form must be signed upon arrival and all guests under 16 must be accompanied by an adult over 18 yrs old.

Harbor Island is a beautiful strip of land bordered by the San Diego Harbor on all sides. You'll find an incredible view of downtown along the boardwalk that leads to some of the best restaurants in San Diego. As for the marina, it's a tranquil and special place to spend your vacation. You will see boats slipping in and out of the docks throughout the day, paddle-boarders gliding by and the occasional kayaker cruising the slips.
At the base of the docks there's a deli serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner along with beer/wine/juices/snacks for sale. Wander over to the Sheraton Hotel (5min walk) for a glass of wine on one of the restaurant patios or catch happy hour at C-Level for a gorgeous view of the downtown skyline over the water.
Our homet sets directly adjacent to the Sheraton Hotel and we have enjoyed a few weddings, live music and people watching. At the far end of the hotel you can rent out nearly any water-sport equipment available (kayaks, paddle-boards, jet-skis, sailing tours).
Getting around
Ample parking is available in our parking lot with provided parking pass. If you prefer to go without a vehicle, the airport is close enough that you could walk (about 15 minutes) or if you are tired after your flight, grab an Uber, Lyft or Taxi. There's also the Big Bay Shuttle (May-Sept) offering connections along the harbor into downtown for $3/day that will take you to various locations including Little Italy, The Midway, Seaport Village, and the Convention Center/Gaslamp area. For those who enjoy biking, there is a bike rental station just feet from the Marina.
