Grandview Shores is a luxury vacation condo located in Sicamous, BC, on the shores of the beautiful Mara Lake. It is located at the North end of the Okanagan Valley, 123 KM drive North of Kelowna and 483 KM west of Calgary. Located on 2 acres of property with prime west exposure (afternoon/evening sun) beachfront on beautiful Mara Lake, Grandview Shores is perfectly located. This 41 unit condo development is located on the edge of the town of Sicamous, within easy walking distance to the small downtown shopping/restaurants and grocery store. The architecture is tasteful and elegant Cape Cod styling with a beautiful courtyard to enjoy. Amenities include a swimming pool, 20 person hot tub, sandy beach, roped off swimming area, Internet and private marina (1 assigned boat slip). Entrance gate is secured with private outdoor parking (1 stall). This unit is beautifully furnished and includes everything to make your stay enjoyable except beach towels and of course your food and toiletries. No pets or smoking allowed. This unit is on the main floor and faces the mountains and road. Security or Damage Deposit A refundable security/damage deposit of 400.00 CAD is due immediately. When warranted, the deposit (or portion thereof) is refunded within 7 days of departure., Groups of young adults may be subject to a larger deposit., For a Long Term Stay, the deposit is 1200.00 CAD Pet Policy, Deposit and Fees Pets are not allowed due to bylaws/regulations/policies. NOTE: Persons traveling with and requiring a Service Animal have special rights and must be granted access regardless. Cleaning on Departure A fee is charged for Cleaning on Departure Fee of 80.00 CAD for stays that are 3 to 6 nights in duration. Cleaning During Stay There is no cleaning/maid service available. Linen Linen is included in the rent 100% cotton sheets, towels and bedding. Towels are not allowed outside of the property. Beach towels should be brought by guest. Parking Parking is free. There is one above ground parking stall. Waterfront and/or Beach Property is waterfront (i.e. no properties between the property and water OR property is in a community with private waterfront access). Mara Lake is less than a 1 minute walk from the property without crossing a road. The fine sand beach gradient is gradual for a long distance. There is a private dock. Property is on Mara Lake and unit faces the mountains and road. Tables, umbrellas and loungers in beautiful courtyard and on beach. Large swimming pool and hot tub by beach. Snow Skiing and Boarding Ski/Board Out is a 45 minute drive to the ski resort parking lot. Internet Service and Fee Internet is included in the rent Telephone Fee The property does not have a phone. Property Heat/Elec/Energy Fee Long term rentals of 30 days or more set up and pay own utilities from September to June.
