Due to health practices now in effect the cleaning crew will be spraying all surfaces with disinfectant and using disposable wipes on all surfaces. There will also be available disinfectant wipes and disinfectant spray for your use in each apartment Unfortunately. it will be necessary for you to bring your own linens, towels, blankets and if you choose pillows with you. I have pillows, comforter, blankets on the bed if you choose to use them. I apologize for this inconvenience but I feel this is necessary for your safety This will also affect a change to Check-out 11AM and check-in at 3PM.
KITE FEST WEEKNED No date available as of now to my knowledge. This is a September Weekend which becomes very much in demand and quite beautiful to see.
CHOWDER FEST -- No date has been set for this as yet. This is usually held on the first weekend in October.
The downstairs of this 2 Family house has a lock box, a private entrance also a screened-in porch containing several chairs and tables equipped with evening lighting. The apartment is a two bedroom, both with queen size beds (brand new mattress), there is also a futon (twin) in the living room; 1 full bathroom. The kitchen contains a coffee pot, 4 slice toaster, microwave, blender, large refrigerator/freezer and a NEW 4 burner stove. There are many large pots and pans with service for 8. There is plenty of cross ventilation, many widows, fans and an air conditioner in the kitchen window. The living room has a comfortable recliner with massage feature, flat screen TV, and a comfy chair and firestick. Outside is a propane BBQ and two large picnic tables with a sitting area and evening outside lighting to set the mood; plus a unique little garden. We have had returning guests for over 35 years who come to enjoy the convenience of stores, (ice cream parlor, deli with great sandwiches and coffee, cocktail/bar, pizza, excellent seafood restaurant) and of course, the nearness to the beach along with being able to bring your beloved pet with you. Please note at the request of the cleaning service we are obligated to charge $50.00 per pet. On the property there is room to park 2 cars one behind the other. Sunsets/Sunrises and the closeness to the life-guarded beach without crossing any streets. There are some boogie/skim/surf boards, which are available at your own risk, beach umbrella and beach toys available for your use as well as crab nets and crab equipment. 4 Blocks away is a crabbing area with a bench out on the dock. In addition, just 5 blocks bay side, there is a fenced in life-guarded beach with a shaded sitting area, basketball hoop, outside shower, free parking and due to the low water is especially great for children up to about 8 years old. The house is about 45 years old and is decorated for comfort, convenience, relaxed living and serenity with memories and hopefully a little romance, while maintaining a shore style.
CANELATION POLICY; on the off-season rentals the cancellation policy is nonrefundable 30 days before rental date. On Seasonal rentals the cancellation is nonrefundable as of June 25, 2022.
