3 Bedroom Villa in Ceret, Céret

Due to the Covid crisis we have withdrawn the property from the market this year and will not be able to take any bookings. Villa Fleurie combines the peace and tranqulity of a rural setting but is only a 2 minute drive into Ceret with its cafes restaurants and shops all set in beautiful medieval streets. The accomodation has 3 large bedrooms and 2 very large bathrooms,both of which have been completely renovated offering large walk in showers and one with a bath together with a comfortable sitting room and dining room. The Villa has a large 10x5m heated private swimming pool with plenty space for lounging in the sun but also lots of shade when needed. There are extensive terraced gardens for you exclusive use and lovely covered terrace for alfresco dining The owners live in the apartment on the upper floor but you have complete privacy in the gardens and the pool.The owners Please see reviews for confirmation from clients. From the garden and from the bedrooms you have fantastic views of the largest mountain in this part of the Pyrenees, Mont Canigou. The snow will have gone in the summer but it is still very impressive to see. The kitchen is very well equipped with an electric oven/gas hob, large fridge and a good quality dishwasher. There is a choice of bbqs on the terrace, one is gas and the other is a Webber charcoal burner. The outside dining table , on the shaded terrace, can seat 8 people. One of the treats while staying at Villa Fleurie is the chance to visit the very large market that is held in Ceret every Saturday morning. There you will find all manner of fresh local produce to bring back to enjoy at the villa. Nearby, within a 10 minute drive, is a beautiful boating and swimming lake that has a very good quality restaurant.
