23 Johnstown Lane is a beautiful townhome with five bedrooms and four and a half baths accommodating up to sixteen. Featuring four levels, you’ll find everything you need and more in this beautifully appointed home away from home. With hardwood floors, lovely furnishings, and large windows throughout, the beautiful details invite you in after days at the beach. You’ll find two beautiful guest suites on the first floor, each with en suite baths, and a wet bar and are lovely added conveniences. The master suite with a king-sized bed and private balcony await on the second floor along with a lounging area, additional guest suite, and bathroom. The third floor boasts an inviting entertainment area, the ideal gathering spot to share stories and tell tales at the day’s end. Gather together in the kitchen, packed with everything needed to prepare delicious meals, on the front terrace for gorgeous views of the park, or grill up the day’s catch on the rear balcony. The fourth floor boasts yet another versatile area that can be used as a lounging space for casual gatherings or additional sleeping accommodations, while the porch is the perfect spot to take in the coastal breezes with a glass of wine and a good book.

Summary: This home was much bigger than we anticipated which was a great surprise and much needed. There are 4 levels to this house and the elevator came in handy for sending groceries and luggage up and down. Most of the home was well appointed. Our one big complaint is that there is no porch furniture on 3 of 4 porches. The only porch furniture is on the porch off the kitchen and it was a large table and 6 chairs. In the photos it showed there two additional chairs. When we arrived there were none there. The additional 3 porches had zero places to sit. I wish we had some chairs to sit and read and/or people watch. There were televisions in every bedroom except the loft room. It would have been nice to have one up there because there is such a large sitting area in that room. It was also the room that our children and friends wanted to hang out and watch football games. The loft beds were very spacious and the bathroom was very nice. However, one of the lamp cords would not reach the outlet so there was only one lamp for the room. Luckily there are ceiling lights. The kitchen had several wonderful Appliances and I loved the coffeemaker combine with an kuerig. The pantry was very large as was the refrigerator. All in all this is a great home to rent. Maybe next time we return there will be some comfy outdoor chairs on the porches.
