Welcome to our holiday idyll on Vinön, a gem in Hjälmaren, where every moment is filled with peace and enjoyment. You can comfortably get to the island with the free road ferry from Hampetorp's ferry terminal. You will find this holiday paradise on the north side of the island about 2 km from the ferry stop. Here you have two separate houses where the guest house has two bedrooms for three people and a smaller living room as well as a cozy terrace with outdoor furniture. The larger house offers sleeping space for a total of five people in two separate bedrooms as well as a comfortable sofa bed in the living room. The kitchen is small but equipped with what you need. Even the large house has a terrace with plenty of space for both dinners and relaxing in the sun, there is a barbecue. In a separate building you will find a washroom and an incineration toilet, Cinderella, which is a very environmentally friendly alternative, and an outdoor shower with cold/hot water. The house is nestled in greenery so there is not much visibility from passers-by. For those interested, young and old, there is a trampoline out in the garden. In a few minutes' walk you reach a lovely bathing beach with piers. If you want to discover Hjälmaren, you have access to a kayak. On Södra Vinön there is a cozy restaurant during the summer that often has music evenings that are popular, you also have a cafe, kiosk and flea markets that the Vinö people open up during the summer period. If you want to shop locally produced on the island, there are farms where they sell both Hjälmargös and crayfish, which Hjälmaren is best known for. Vinön is a small island, no more than 10 km in circumference, which is perfect for both cycling and walking around the island. On the mainland, not far from the ferry stop, you have Hampetorps Camping, which in summer has a service shop if you need to fill up the fridge, otherwise there are shops in Odensbacken and Vingåker.
