6 Bedroom House in Maggie Valley
What to say about a brand-new 6-bedroom, custom-built log home sitting in the midst of 41 acres, yet close to town, with easy access plus sleeps 22 people? Well, we say welcome home to 4 Loves Lodge, the latest addition to the Maggie Mountain Vacations family of vacation rental homes.
The homeowners of 4 Loves Lodge are very family oriented and spend a great deal of time outdoors. Their wish is that you and your family will enjoy this beautiful mountain home and respect it as if it were your own. A lot of love and care has gone into building their family retreat, the owners invite you to bring your family here for rest and relaxation and to enjoy the beautiful mountains that surround the property.
This stunning home is handcrafted with the utmost attention to detail, with every amenity in mind for families and friends to enjoy! From the stone post and beam covered parking area that greets you upon arrival (large enough for several vehicles and more importantly motorcycles to park underneath), you can truly feel the “love” that went into building this home. With its easy access right off the main road through Maggie Valley, 4 Loves is the perfect location if traveling by group on motorcycles or with trailers as the gentle paved drive comes directly to the home, through the carport. The wraparound driveway is completed with gravel to allow for easy egress as well.
Your family will love the airiness of 4 Loves Lodge as you walk in the front door to the open living space. Large, overstuffed couches fill the living room as you are greeted by the large custom stone fireplace with its hand-hewn mantle. Floor to ceiling windows let the light shine in, showing the majesty of the Smokies in the distance. To the left, a welcoming modern kitchen with all the comforts of home along with brand-new stainless-steel appliances await, completed by the handmade octagon dining table that seats 12 persons comfortably. The “big kids” hand hewn picnic style table is to the left of the dining room and the “littles” smaller junior table is there as well. Both are perfect for dining or playing cards or coloring duty as needed!
Adjacent to indoor dining, you’ll step through the screened in porch area for outdoor dining at its best complete with ceiling fans. Moving out to the massive house length outdoor deck, Adirondack chairs and lounges grace the deck area, complete with a smaller more intimate seating area on the opposite side, under a covered alcove.
Also on the main floor is the king master bedroom with full bath with tub/shower combo ensuite. The king bedroom opens to a covered seating area on the upper deck.
Upstairs you’ll find two large queen bedrooms each with two queen beds. Each bedroom has a high window desk area complete with stools, perfect for laptop computer work or for an afternoon of reading and mountain gazing. A full bath with tub/shower combo en-suite accompanies both bedrooms.
Moving downstairs to the bottom level, you find two additional large queen bedrooms, each with triple twin bunk beds and full bath with tub/shower combo. Conveniently adjacent to the queen bedroom on the right-side downstairs is a small crib room for those with wee ones. On the lower level is a large game room complete with pool table, ping pong table, shuffleboard table and foosball table, complete with big screen TV to watch your favorite ball games. Step out downstairs and find another space for dining alfresco as well as another small seating area and of course, a large 6-person hot tub!
Bonus! For those of you not so happy to be conjoined at the hip with traveling companions, welcome to The She Shed which allows you to be just steps away from the main house and give you the privacy of your own space, with one queen bed, small dining table and full bathroom with tub/shower. The She Shed also has its own mini-fridge, Keurig coffeemaker and large screen TV. Thinking this could be your happy place?
Spectrum Cable TV is available in the living room, in the game room and in The She Shed. There are no TVs in any bedrooms. High Speed Spectrum internet and Wi-Fi is available throughout the house. Washer/dryer, two zoned central heat and air round out this beautiful home.
Please note: This property is not pet friendly. Unauthorized pets on property will incur a $300 per pet penalty. The approach to this property is a mountain road with some short period of steepness. We do experience seasonal inclement weather in this region. All-wheel drive or 4-wheel drive and/or snow tire chains would be required in winter weather events. Also, there is no garage access at this home.
There is so much to do around this vacation home all year-round. In about 25 minutes, you could be in downtown Waynesville at Ingles and Publix grocery stores, Walmart or head to Main Street and enjoy additional shopping, dining, and sightseeing.
This home is a less than a 30-minute drive to the Blue Ridge Parkway, Great Smoky Mountains National Park, and Harrah's Cherokee Casino (even if you do not gamble, Harrah's has some of the best restaurants around), Pisgah National Forest, several golf courses, and just west of Cherokee is Bryson City (home of the Great Smoky Mountain Railway and “Polar Express” during the Christmas Holiday).
