Indoor heated swimming pool (shared with other properties on-site, 20m x 15m, depth 1.2m, 08:00 - 18:00) with jacuzzi section, shower facilities, changing facilities and coarse fishing (4 free permits per booking for 6 weeks during the summer holidays, rest of year at cost). Private parking for 1 car. No smoking. Please note: There is direct access from the garden to an unfenced lake. . Kingfisher Retreat is a brand-new lakeside holiday home (2021) and is nestled in a quiet location of a fantastic holiday park; Billing Aquadrome in Northamptonshire overlooking one of the on-site lakes... You can fill your days on the park with many on site activities including a fairground, fishing, marina with water sports, indoor swimming pool, crazy golf, and many other activities. This is a great place for a family getaway whatever the weather as there is so much to do. The open plan living room, kitchen and dining area has been furnished to a high standard and enjoys a patio with outdoor seating where you can enjoy a drink after your busy days. The 6 weeks of the summer holidays will include a pass for 4 people to use the swimming pool and fishing free of charge.
If you enjoy a peaceful stroll in the countryside, you can explore the miles of footpaths straight from the doorstep. There is a choice of eateries on site and in the nearby villages. There are plenty of places to explore and days out for everyone including many historic houses, stately homes, and gardens; Castle Ashby and Gardens, Althorp House, the final resting place of Diana, Delapre Abbey, Lamport Hall and Gardens, Coton Manor and Lavendon. There are also plenty of nearby country parks including Sywell Country Park, Stanwick Lakes and Salcey Forest. For shopping enthusiasts, visit Rushden Lakes full of high street shops, restaurants, and entertainment venues. Silverstone Racetrack, home of the British Grand Prix is just over 20 miles away. The market towns of Northampton, Market Harborough, Wellingborough, Towcester, and Kettering are all easily accessible.
