Blanche Haven is a non-hunting property but is a host to abundant wildlife such as whitetail deer, axis deer, wild turkey and fox just to name a few. Stroll along Blanche Haven’s 1,000+/- feet of private river frontage ........ perhaps share a glass of wine at a picnic table in a shady spot located just inches from a Pedernales cascade or sink a line in a deep fishing hole or fly fish on the Pedernales sandy river bank. In other words....Welcome to a Texas Hill Country afternoon! This is a hosted property by the owner AND ALSO A NON-SMOKING PROPERTY. View us on Instagram! Upon entering the main gate please park and then cross the classic Texas style front porch veranda to enter a lovely foyer with polished travertine floors. On this level guests will enjoy a spacious great room with high vaulted ceilings and sunlit outdoor views from every angle. A newly renovated open kitchen, complete with Wolf, Sub-Zero and Miele appliances, opens onto the great room. This floor also boasts a sunny downstairs master bedroom and en-suite bathroom with separate walk in shower and large oval soaking tub and a large walk in closet. A powder bath and separate mud room with laundry facilities can also be found on the main level off the great room. Located upstairs is a total of 3 bedrooms. The first upstairs bedroom is a large sunny room and boasts a comfy queen bed with a walk-in closet. This bedroom is completed by a full bathroom with a tub/shower combination. The upstairs second and third bedrooms, each with comfy queen beds and sunny locations, share a Jack and Jill bath which has 2 separate private vanity areas separated with optional locking doors by a tub/shower/toilet bath area. Also upstairs is an enormous family room replete with many beautiful framed wildlife animal prints, oversized comfortable seating, and a large Sony TV. A Yamaha grand piano completes the room. Next is a large book filled study with a variety of interesting titles. This room also offers a lovely backgammon board set for 2 players. These 2 entertainment rooms, which serve to separate the bedrooms, also opens onto a large upstairs veranda with antique wrought iron railings and lots of seating. This location offers beautiful views of mature live oak trees, several Purple Martin houses and the Pedernales River. It is also one of several perfect locations for a morning coffee or an evening cocktail or perhaps looking down upon a fun afternoon game of croquet. Another outdoor venue awaits on the expansive outdoor rear terrace complete with a shaded pergola, teak outdoor seating furniture, a large bottle shaped fireplace, a Jacuzzi, a teak dining table that seats 6-8 and abundant landscaping with 2 gurgling fountains. ..... all enjoyed under the shade of a massive oak tree.
