While there is no public transportation nearby, you can drive to the town of Truckee, about 20 minutes away, where you will find bus routes to Northstar Ski Resort, Kings Beach, and Tahoe City. The home has 3 ski resorts less than 10 miles away, so you can quickly be on the slopes. For those looking for a bit more city life, both Tahoe City and Kings Beach are a 35-minute drive away.
