The JFK Airport is a 30-minute drive to the Ferry Terminal (the island is only accessible by ferry). Take the Long Island Railroad to Bay Shore, walk five minutes or Uber to the ferry going to Ocean Beach. Everything you need is within walking distance in Ocean Beach, while bicycles and water taxis are available for tourist attractions.
This beach charmer boasts a private outdoor, enclosed space with an extensive deck and a dining area with a gas grill. An enclosed outdoor shower (exclusive to guests staying at the cottage) is ideal for rinsing off after spending the day at the beach. There is also a laundry area with a washer/dryer that is shared with the separate suite.
