Located between two oceans in the wind protected Sun Valley, we offer 2 tastefully decorated self-catering studios only 30 minutes south of Cape Town City.
Situated between beautiful wine farms and the popular Fish Hoek beach and Golf Course, our Adult Only Accommodation is the perfect tranquil stay in Cape Town!
Each of the 2 Studios is open plan with king sized bed, living area and kitchenette in one room. A separate bathroom has a rain shower, toilet and basin.
We have 2 beautiful open plan studios to offer, each about 33sqm (360 ft2) in size, lovely decorated and furnished and very airy and friendly. They both face the sheltered garden and a large solar heated pool, with a view towards Chapman's Peak.
Both Studios have a king-sized bed, supplied with two single high-quality mattresses and bedding for your comfort. The tastefully chosen cotton bed linen will let you sleep like in heaven! A big sleeper couch in the same room (160x200mm) turns easily into the perfect bed for another person if needed.
The modern bathroom has a rain- and hand-shower and towels are supplied.
The kitchenette is equipped with a fridge/freezer, a microwave, 2 hot plates, water kettle, coffee machine, toaster and all the cutlery and crockery, pots, pans, and bowls you need for preparing and enjoying light meals. A table and chairs complete your comfort.
There is an HD TV with Compact DSTV channels, a private safe and additional EU and USB plugs in the studio.
Superfast unlimited Wi-Fi is freely available inside and outside.
We have 24hours Electricity due to installed photovoltaic panels and battery - no more load shedding in our Accommodation!
In addition to your private Studio you have free access to the shared garden with outdoor furniture, grill / barbeque, a solar heated pool and the secure parking area in the front. The lovely view into the peaceful garden with its sparkling pool will let you totally relax. You will get your own remote for the property gate and key to your self-catering studio. We live in the main house on the property and will always be there to assist but give you all the privacy you want.
We are an Adult Only and non-smoking establishment, but you are free to smoke in the garden. Pets are not allowed. A laundry service can be provided.
Golf Trolleys are available to rent at exceptionally good rates. Affordable Airport Transfer, Tours & Car Hire can be arranged.
All the accommodation is secure and each one has its own entrance and off-street parking on the fully fenced property.
We are situated in a quiet suburban neighborhood in the heart of the Cape Peninsula surrounded by mountains and the sea. There is a shopping Mall in walking distance. Public Transport is rather minimal. There are Minibuses going to Fish Hoek and a Train going to Simons 'Town and Cape Town City Center. However we highly recommend a rental car to get around and we would be glad to assist with a free quote.
Excursion possibilities: Go swimming on Fish Hoek beach, diving and snorkeling in False Bay and with the penguins at Boulders. Surfing is popular at Kommetjie. Ride horses in Noordhoek or in Kommetjie, Camels at Imhoffs Farm or go hiking in the surrounding Silvermine Nature Reserve. Rent a bike, explore caves in our mountains or do rock climbing. Do the "baboon walk" and have a sundowner at Noordhoek beach. Visit the nice restaurants in trendy Kalk Bay harbour, in Simons Town on the waters edge or in the Malls next to us. Watch the whales in season or do shark cage diving. Play golf in Clovelly Country Club, Simons Town, Steenberg or Westlake or do the Art Route in Noordhoek & Kommetjie. A scenic drive over Chapman's Peak Drive will lead you to Hout Bay with it's Seal Island, to the famous Camps Bay beach, to the Waterfront and in the City Centre with Table Mountain. The Constantia Wine Estates invite you to taste the great South African wines and Kirstenbosch Gardens show you beautiful Proteas while you listen to the Sunday summer concerts. Another scenic route to the south leads you to the wild beaches of Scarborough, via an Ostrich Farm to the famous tip of the African continent: Cape Point National Park. All these attractions are easily reachable in a short drive from our apartments
