Summary: It was clean and in a decent area, we had no problem navigating about to the different areas we were interested in. Comfortable living room, and enough kitchen for travelers. The larger bedroom however was fraught with issues. NO DOOR. That’s a big issue when traveling with others. No clock, you have to share the tv remote with the living room tv, and no trash can. The street facing window has semi-sheer curtains which is a big issue, especially at night since there’s no blinds. We felt compelled to dress in the bathroom. (I guess we could have dressed in the dark…) The mattress was awful. A cheap mattress with no box springs, so sleep was poor and I’d wake up around 3 or 4am unable to sleep due to overall back discomfort, every night, for five nights. They provide an iron but no ironing board. The bathroom has single ply tissue so thin you can literally read through it. No hooks, no towel racks, so that made dressing in there somewhat problematic, especially when you have wet towels draped over the shower curtain rod. No blinds on any other windows, and no window dressing on the again street facing window over the kitchen sink, so that feeling of over exposure continued throughout the house. There’s odd little features that weren’t necessarily an issue, just…odd. Like a small window/opening between the front entry way/mud room and the master bedroom, complete with cute little shutters. Perhaps a former business at that location?
