PLEASE NOTE: THROUGH MARCH 2024, THERE IS CONSTRUCTION ON OTHER BUILDINGS IN OUR CONDO COMPLEX. CONSTRUCTION ON OUR BUILDING, #4 IS COMPLETE, HOWEVER, YOU MAY SEE WORKERS AND HEAR CONSTRUCTION NOISES WHEN OUTSIDE OUR UNIT. THERE SHOULD BE NO MAJOR IMPACT TO YOUR STAY IN OUR UNIT, BUT PLEASE BE AWARE THERE WILL BE CONSTRUCTION WORK IN OTHER AREAS OF THE COMPLEX.
Our unit is # 254 Palm Beach Club (at 1390 Ft Pickens Rd Pensacola Beach, FL 32561) on the second and third floors at the Western end of building four of a gated complex. Inside the unit are high vaulted ceilings, recent paint and new furniture, built-in cabinetry, wet-bar, lots of closet space, and spacious living areas. There is a master bedroom with its own private full bath and balcony overlooking the Gulf. A second bedroom has a queen bed and private bathroom with shower. The upper loft has a bunk-style bed with a full on the bottom and twin on top. There is also a bathroom with shower. Leading up to the loft is a children’s play-area with legos, puzzles, books, and games. There is also a child-size futon that a smaller child could use as a bed.
The full kitchen is small but complete with oven, microwave, fridge, dishwasher, double sink, toaster, and coffee maker. The dining area has a table that seats six and a wetbar for adult entertainment. The main living area has a mounted LED TV, a large couch suitable for napping or even sleeping, and a high-top table overlooking the beach and Gulf of Mexico. A sliding door with screen leads to the upper balcony where you can enjoy beach views as you have your morning coffee or night-cap.
One note of caution: there are moderately steep stairs throughout our unit, with no bathroom or bedroom on the main living floor. If someone in your party has difficulty with stairs, our unit may not be the best choice.
About the Complex: Palm Beach Club is a small, gated community at the very end of the beach abutting the Ft Pickens Gulf Island National Seashore and the county recreational area offering protected views for a lifetime. The Pensacola Beach Trolley stops right here! The community consists of 84 luxury condos in four three-story buildings located directly on the Sound of Pensacola Bay and abutting the ocean. Residents and guests can play in the waves of the Gulf across the street, enjoy a variety of water sports in the sound, or lounge on the large sundeck of the bay-front pool. The building is served by 2 stairwells and an elevator, making access very easy and convenient compared to high-rise living. Designated private and enclosed parking of 2 cars per unit and then open parking for guests or additional vehicles. This unit has 2 balconies providing panoramic views of the Gulf of Mexico. The property is professionally managed with full time maintenance service. This is a one-of-a-kind property due to its protected views, convenient location as a beach trolley stop, location next to a parking lot and recreation center, location on the Sound and open walk to the ocean.
