Casa de LilieRosa is a bespoke wheelchair friendly 3 Bedroom Spanish Villa near Villamartin, San Miguel de Salinas complete with its very own hoist accessible private pool. The villa and gardens have been totally re-designed to ensure full wheelchair accessibility whilst retaining a true Spanish feel. The large driveway accessed through the fully automated electric gate ensures ample secure off road parking, capable of accommodating a rear or side access vehicle. Situated 45 minutes South of Alicante Airport and just 25 minutes from Mercia (San Javia) Airport. Casa de LilieRosa is set in a predominantly English speaking urbanisation only 20 minutes drive from the beautiful coastal city of Torrevieja and 15 minutes walk from the bustling Villamartin Plaza with its numerous shops, bars and restaurants. The Villa: Inside we have endeavoured to make as much of the villa wheelchair accessible as possible. The family shower is adjacent to bedrooms 1 & 2. Bedroom 3 has its own en suite wet-room with ample space for wheelchair users to access all areas. The villa is air-conditioned throughout from one main unit. Each bedroom has its own remote controlled ceiling fan for added comfort. Double - Room. This simple double bedroom comes complete with hair straighteners, hair dryer and fitted wardrobes and is accessed from the lounge through an open arch. Air-conditioning and roof fan ensures guests comfort through the hot summer months. The family shower room is next door . Twin - Room. A bright twin room which catches the sun first thing in the morning is a delight to wake up in. Complete with hair straighteners, hair dryer and fitted wardrobes also accessed off the lounge through an open arch. The family shower room is straight across the hall. Wheelchair Accessible Twin - Room. Room 3 has been designed with wheelchair and movement impaired users in mind. Complete with height adjustable electric profiling bed with pressure relieving mattress, large wardrobe and its very own access door, to an external patio area. However the crowning glory has to be the extremely spacious en suite wet-room. Kitchen. Fridge, freezer, oven, touch sensitive hob, toaster, electric kettle, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine along with a variety of kitchen gadgets are all available for use. Hand held food blender and small food processor are also available for guests with specialist dietary requirements. Cleaning equipment, iron and ironing board are also available. Lounge. The lounge comprises of a red leather 3-2-1 suite, coffee table and shelving for guests to utilise. A 32" TV- DVD unit with a selection of DVD's & CD's for your enjoyment. iPhone 4 Speaker System and iPhone/iPad charging station can be found under the TV. Pay-per-use WiFi is available on request and booked directly by guests at very competitive rates and works throughout the villa. Equipment. To ensure all our guests have an enjoyable time we have put together a wide range of specialist equipment. Please confirm requirements at time of booking. After spending days at a time searching the internet trying to find suitable wheelchair accessible accommodation my wife and I decided enough was enough and took the plunge and bought a villa! That' s when the work really started. After 9 months of hard work we are now proud to offer for rent the result of our labour, Casa de LilieRosa. The reason for the adaptations is our daughter Lilie Rose who has quadriplegic Cerebral Palsy. To ensure we all have a wonderful time in Eagles Nest we have taken 13 years of experience from behind a wheelchair and put it to good use. Numerous walls have been knocked down or repositioned, doors widened and as much space created within the confines of the original building. Outside we have had the whole plot re-tiled, paths built, ramps built where there used to be steps and in some cases no paths at all. Now the entire exterior of the villa is wheelchair accessible with just one exception, the solarium, sorry. That's where mum and dad sneak off to take a little time to relax and reflect.
