The comfortable and cosy, 3 bedroom Gîte Le Noyer is perfect for a family or a small group of friends. Converted from a former farm store barn, it maintains much of original charm and character, whilst giving you all the modern day comforts.
Downstairs in this split level apartment, you will find an open plan living space with a fully equipped kitchen, dining area and lounge with two large sofas to relax on, a flat screen SmartTV, a cast iron wood burner and a guest toilet.
The upstairs contains two double bedrooms (one with a superking size bed and one with a double bed), one twin bedroom, a second toilet and a modern shower rooms.
Outside, you can relax in your private, adjoining garden and enjoy an aperitif and the sunset at your outside dining area, just few steps from the shared swimming pool.
Gite Le Noyer sleeps 6 people. You can book Le Noyer together with our other gite, Le Figuier to accommodate up to 10 guests.
Le Mas de Roussa is an ancient silk farm full of charm and character, set just above the beautiful river Ceze, in the scenic wilderness of Cevennes National Park.
The traditional stone mas hides fully self contained holiday apartments, which have been tastefully decorated to reflect its character, whilst providing all modern comforts.
Our guests can enjoy 10 hectares of beautiful meadows and woodlands buzzing with wildlife, a private pebbly riverside beach and a 10 meter shared, heated swimming pool.
Whilst peaceful and tranquil, Le Mas de Roussa is only a couple of kilometers away from the medieval market town of Saint Ambroix, with its bustling food market, cafes and boulongeries.
It's the perfect base to explore the region, close to the rugged wilderness of Cevennes valleys, breath-taking gorges and rivers of Ardeche and traditional, picturesque towns and villages like Luzanne, Uzes and Le Vanes.
Guests arriving at Le Mas de Roussa will be able to lose themselves in the serenity of the surrounding nature, walking the meandering paths through the meadows, swimming in the calm waters of the river Ceze and exploring the woodlands. Summary: After a warm welcome, it was with pleasure that we discovered the 6 people's Mas. Enough place, all you need to cook and freshness in a very hot summer end (2 to 6 septembre 2023). The salted water pool was quite refreshing and we had plenty of time to train our pétanque skills. Plenty of things to do around (you will need a car). Would definitely come back :)
