Alanna is a lovely cosy three bedroom cottage, one of a row of three, set back from the road just as you leave the charming village of Comrie and head into the stunning Trossachs and Loch Lomond. Take a lovely stroll into the village where you will find a lovely selection of pubs, restaurants and local shops, all embraced by scenic countryside. The ideal holiday for a family or a small group of friends looking to explore this amazing area and perfect for walkers and cyclists. The River Earn runs along the front of the house giving it the extra wow factor.
The deceptively spacious cottage has a very good size private garden, which is lawned and enclosed. There is also a front garden which is by the river where you can fish and relax during your stay. Downstairs there is lovely cosy lounge area where you can snuggle up by the log burner, fantastic fully equipped kitchen and a large separate dining area. Upstairs on the first floor is a bright twin room with lovely wooden shutters, and bedroom with a single bed. Head up to the fantastic loft conversion which is now the master bedroom with a private en-suite toilet and washbasin. The house is lovingly decorated throughout and is warm and welcoming. A hidden gem.
The village sits in the middle of Glen Lednock and Glen Artney. Comrie has a range of local shops with places to have a drink and eat out. It is just a short 12-minute drive from the historical market town of Crieff and the very popular Crieff Hydro where you can enjoy a multitude of outdoor activities from quad biking, archery to zip lining. Crieff is also famous for whisky and its history of cattle droving. A visit to the Crieff Visitors Centre is highly recommended.
