Alpine Escape is a great 3 bedroom 3 bathroom home in the prestigious Jacks Point suburb in Queenstown is the perfect place to base yourself if you are planning on playing golf, walking, biking, tramping, skiing or just exploring our great region.
You can relax around the outdoor fire in the evenings while looking up to the spectacular Remarkable Mountains. The house has a great indoor/outdoor flow from the open plan kitchen dining and lounge area. Our home is professionally cleaned.
Someone from The Butler may meet guests on arrival (depending on length of stay) - so please provide travel details. Then we will be just a phone call away. Subject to COVID19 regulations the meet & greet may be carried out via phone but we will advise in advance of any changes.
Originally farmland the Jacks Point Estate has been developed trying to keep the 3,000 acres in harmony with their original surroundings. From the planting of native fauna to the design of the houses this estate was 15 years in the planning.
Jacks Point is home to the acclaimed 18 hole Championship Golf Course, it has extensive mountain bike and walking trails, tennis courts, playground, sports fields and not to forget the Clubhouse and Restaurant which sit on the picturesque Lake Tewa which is also available for fly fishing. Here in Jacks Point we embrace the lifestyle and enjoy nature.
Guests have full access to the property except for a locked cupboard in the lounge.
Guests do not have access to the owners bikes that are stored in the garage.
The house catches the winter sun so is nice and warm during the day. We also have a reverse cycle air conditioner/heat pump to help keep you warm in the winter or cool in summer. All the bedrooms have wall heaters and the bathrooms have underfloor heating.
There are three Queen bedrooms and three bathrooms. which makes it a great place for couples to stay although also suited to families. One bedroom & bathroom is downstairs the other two are located upstairs. The Master bedroom has a work desk in case you need to catch up on some emails while you are on holiday.
We have a fully equipped kitchen with Electric Oven, gas cooktop, microwave, rice cooker, blender, electric wok and of course the all important Nespresso coffee machine. There is plenty of crockery & cutlery for your group.
The TV in the main lounge has a Chrome Cast attached so you can screen share your favourite programs from your phone or device. The house has Wifi included.
The owner has tastefully decorated the home to make you comfortable and help give it that home away from home feel.

It is recommended you have a car but not essential as there is a public bus that runs from Jack Point every hour.
We are approx 10 minutes from the airport and the Frankton shopping district. Less than 5 minutes to the bottom carpark to The Remarkables Ski field and only 20 minutes into downtown Queenstown
If travelling with small children you do need to supervise them on stairs and around the outdoor fire. Please note the property is not fenced.
The Neighbours cat may come to visit we request you do not allow it in the house.
Although you have access to the garage you cannot park your vehicle in there it is only available for storage of skis, bikes or golf equipment. Parking on the driveway for 1 vehicle is provided.
