Positive: The views were beautiful and the location was very peaceful. It was close to the main town so easy to top up on supplies, as required.
Negative: The house wasn’t as clean as expected. Lots of cobwebs. We had no central heating or hot water all weekend but thankfully the downstairs shower was electric so we could wash in this. It hasn’t been maintained, noticed things broken etc. Exposed wiring on upstairs ceiling light. With a bit of tlc, this house could be really great!
Summary: A gorgeous location but the house needs better care.
