Positive: Pros: Responsive customer service, very efficient and tech-forward for both checking in and checking out; location of this home is phenomenal and provides really stunning views of the mountain peaks (the sunrise comes in behind the peak that faces the living room and fills the home with light) in a residential neighborhood that is quiet and just a short distance away from ski resorts and town; the cabin is cozy and has an electric fireplace and could be an ideal retreat particularly for a couple with small children as the upstairs has it's own lounge area with another TV that make it feel like a second separate cabin; nice bird watching and even a cottontail rabbit that has made it's home near the house you can watch hop around in the morning from the primary bedroom.
Negative: Cons: The home was not as clean as we were expecting (IE: loose spider webs in corners, on some home decor/furnishings around the home, placemats that had old food stuck on them) plus a lawnmower, an old tarp, a random chair, and sleds thrown by the front door/entry to the home on arrival which was the only entry point; there is nowhere to hang clothing in any of the bedrooms because the closets are all locked in every single room, so someone who wants to hang a nice dress or clothing has nothing to hang it on; very old or poorly functioning remote control + TV combo in the main living room that we could never figure out clearly through our stay; the TV does not get cable so we could not watch the Thanksgiving Day Parade; the mattresses are placed on the floor on a box spring and were too limp/soft for our tastes; the downstairs secondary bathroom always seemed to have some issues with getting enough hot water coming through during our showers, although we recognize we were there right after a winter storm.
Summary: Beautiful views in a great location with some needed attention to reach 5*
