Paradise awaits! Gorgeous Gulf of Mexico front beach only steps away from the home!.
LGI is a private island in the Gulf of Mexico in S.W. Florida. It is bridgeless. There are very few people on the beach generally and you will have miles of pristine beach to yourself.
Meticulously cared for fully furnished home close to private beach access. 3 bedrooms 2 baths with 400 square foot outdoor deck. Private Dock included. - (1 boat only.
The home's location on the island can be seen in picture number 2 - center of picture with brown deck.. Basically on the beachfront only seperated by the mangrove / dunes. We can hear the crashing of the waves and nice ocean breeze.
World class fishing. Great outdoors, ecotourism and wildlife. type vacation. Great for peace and quiet.
The home is also a short walk from the dock. There is a large rolling Rubbermade cart that can be retrieved from the home and bring it back to the dock to roll bags and supplies, equipment to the home.
The Home:
3-bedroom 2- bath with an outdoor shower.
1,300 square feet inside and 400 square foot deck.
A master suite includes a king size bed and a full-size tub.
The other 2 bedrooms have Queen size beds.
Everything is new and super comfortable.
Completely updated.
The home is fully equipped. High speed internet, smart tv, desk with printer and copy machine, charcoal and propane grills, outdoor shower and rinsing hoses. Large kitchen has everything you need to cook. Washer and Dryer. There is at least 4 beach chairs and a large umbrella with an anchor. There is 1 Bicycle
You can fish from the dock in the bay as well as from the beachfront. If you have a boat, there are local islands to visit that have restaurants and bars and so many fishing spots or sandbars to go to.
Parking is at Eldred's Marina - 6301 Boca Grande Causeway Placida, FL. 33946 - 941 697 1431 - Cars $6 per day - Trucks $8 - Trucks with trailers $10 per day - approx.
Pirates Water Taxi 941 697 5777 (Make Appointment) can be used to get to the island if you do not have a boat. The cost is $12.50 per person each way. Make appointments in advance! The taxi is regularly available.
The Water taxi takes you from the mainland - Placida FL. to Little Gasparilla Island - about a 10-minute boat ride to our dock #17. You can come and go from the island by scheduling with the water taxi.
Golf Carts can be rented on the island at LGI Golf Cart rentals.
You can bring your boat and park at our dock as well or there are several boat rentals in the area.
Nearby places to visit by boat: Stump Pass sand bars. Also, boca grande sand bar. Caya Costa if you can go there - you will be blown away. And then there is Cabbage Key where Jimmy Buffet wrote "Cheeseburger in Paradise" or go to Palm Island which is close by and visit the restaurant there called "Rum Bay". Or the mainland town of Englewood. These locations can be looked up by name online.

Summary: The house was on a quiet lane overall which was very nice. The house had everything listed and communication with John was great. I would have liked to see a few things in the house completed such as, the barn doors that are for the bathrooms needed to be finished and the trim painted. And the front door to the house did not shut and lock very well. Otherwise the interior was good. The exterior has a great outdoor shower which was nice. I would liked to have had a filet table in order to clean fish but that is my only negative thing about the outside of the house. Overall we had a great time and cannot wait to be back.
