As you arrive at the Glamorous Cabana, open the arched gate and enter into paradise. A meandering pathway leads you past lavish landscaping as you enter the courtyard - a pool surrounded by a wonderful patio with a backdrop of sculpted gardens and greenery. The patio offers many seating areas and gathering spaces - lounge in the chaises, congregate around the dining table, enjoy a romantic bistro area, or gather around a firepit - all while soothed by the waterfall cascading into the swimming pool. Can this really be home? It feels like my own private resort!
To the right of the pool is your private cabana. Enter through the sun porch with the whimsical seating - everyone has their own swing. Either swing together on a cozy loveseat or separately in your own hanging chairs. With 3 walls of glass, the sun room surrounds you with those wonderful views - gardens, greenery, and a waterfall into the glimmering pool.
Open the French doors; enter your private oasis. The space is stunning - soaring ceilings, soothing colors, and splendid furnishings - all welcome you into an elegant escape. Above the queen bed, a chandelier sparkles. Across from the bed, a fireplace glows. The bed welcomes you with a sea of cozy pillows - just perfect for snuggling. A walk is a nice introduction to the extraordinary diversity of the Plum Island scenery. Take a walk both on the beach and on the main Refuge road, which offers wonderful views on the Plum Island River marshes and the Broad Sound.
Plum Island creates a nice protected bay which leads to marshes along the Parker River - take a kayak or paddleboard tour through the marshes.
