Make sure you have a camera with you all the time, especially when admiring the streets surrounding the apartment, as you will find Via del Fosso with its medieval water stream passing by the antique gates dating back to 1100s, Piazza San Francesco horned by its white Carrara Marble Romanesque façade and Lucca Train Station within 7 mins walk away plus a safe parking 5 mins walk as well. IMPORTANT TO KNOW: We think it is important to make known that during the summer months, from the end of June to September 5, in the park of the villa in front of the apartment (not exactly in front of the apartment but inside the park) an auteur film festival is held therefore films will be screened in the evening, also in English, and the screenings begin around 9 pm and end around 11.30 pm. Usually there are about fifty spectators, so from the apartment you could hear the buzz as well as the sound of the movies.
