No private vehicles are permitted to drive on the reserve unescorted after dark. The reserve gate closes at 20:00 and all additional transfers are subject to availability. Additionally, should guests arrive after 20h00, a R2 500.00 penalty will apply.

The road from the main gate to the lodge is best accessible with high clearance or 4x4 vehicles. If you are driving a low-clearance vehicle – there is a once-a-day complimentary transfer from the gate to the lodge. The transfer is roughly 30min and your vehicle will remain at the gate, which is safe and guarded 24/7.
