2 waterfront homes side by side, 8 bedrooms with room for up to 20, 2 docks, 6 bathrooms, 2 game rooms, 2 hot tubs, 4 kayaks, 2 paddle boards, this is the ultimate multi-family getaway! A combined living space of over 4,000 sq.ft await your weeklong family reunion or just weekend getaway. The homes are only about 50' apart allowing you to easily connect yet still have that privacy you want on trips like these. Local town with groceries, restaurants, Walmart, etc is just 12 mins away!
The space
White House:
2nd Floor
The main living space with a fully stocked kitchen, spacious eating area that seats 8 at the table and 2 more at the island bar. Comfortable family room right off the kitchen with 55 inch TV. Every TV in the home has either Apple TV or Roku apps to use your preferred streaming services. The master bedroom is also on this floor with a private master bathroom. There is another queen bedroom with access to a separate full bathroom on this floor. The screened in porch off the family room is our favorite spot in the house, incredible views of the river, and some of the most amazing sunrises you'll ever experience! It's the perfect spot to enjoy your morning coffee or a cocktail in the evening (or also morning!).
First Floor
The first floor contains one huge game/TV room (foosball, ping pong, air hockey and video arcade that has 3000+ games) a large table for eating/games, TV area for movies and lounging, 2nd refrigerator for drinks and snacks on hand, and an industrial sink/cleaning station for preparing and cooking crabs or fish caught in the river. This floor also has a full bathroom with shower so guests don't have to leave the area when they're having fun. This is the perfect area for older children or teenagers and it also leads out onto the covered patio that has a great lounging spot for a group with a hot tub. The first floor has exterior only stairs on front and back of house to the 2nd and 3rd floors, more like a beach house setup. There is an Alexa based intercom set up in the 2nd floor kitchen that connects to the game room and 3rd floor for easy communicate back and forth. Washer and dryer are also located here and open to guest use.
Third Floor
On the 3rd floor there is a "kids sleeping area" with three twin beds, a small play area with a TV and a small home office. Another large room with two queen beds, 50 inch tv for movie nights and access to the 3rd floor private deck. These two bedrooms share a full bath and one large closet. We have a high chair and pack n play available for little ones.

You will need your own river/water shoes, we recommend all guests use them anywhere outside. Virtual Work/Learning
We have gigabit Internet, the fastest residential there is, with multiple base stations blanketing the house meaning there's no work or school project that can't be done while here. There is a desk and comfortable work chair on the third floor to work at as well.
Yellow House:
First Floor
The main TV/Game room space has a custom built retro arcade with over 5,000 retro games as well as Roku HDTV, couch, and recliner chair. Theres a virtual pinball table with hundreds of classic tables and an Xbox Series S with 100 games available including a race wheel setup! There is a commercial sink and refrigerator where you can work with your fish and crab catches! There are two small bedrooms, one with a twin and twin trundle, the other with a full and twin bunk which also has a desk and chair for any virtual school/work! There is a full bathroom with shower & bath tub as well. Out back is a covered patio with fans and outdoor furniture and a hot tub!
Second Floor
The second floor is accessed by either two sets of stairs outside or a spiral staircase inside. The spiral staircase is metal and sturdy and has a gate at the top that can be used for extra safety. There is kitchen stocked with all the pots, pans, plates, glasses, utensils you'd need along with salt, pepper, and sometimes anything extra we leave behind! It contains a second refrigerator, full size stove, and microwave. There is a dining and living room with couch and HDTV with Apple TV ready for any streaming apps you already use. There are two bedrooms, one queen, one king, and a full bath with shower & bathtub. Also out back is a covered and screened in porch to enjoy the most epic sunrises.
Outside
Enjoy the only on-site beach in the neighborhood shared by your only next door neighbor which is also an Airbnb we own! The covered dock is the biggest in the neighborhood as well and perfect for fishing, crabbing, and swimming where the water doesn't get above six feet. We also have crab traps and hand nets you can use as well as a large crab pot for cooking. We have four kayaks, two ride on top, one ride inside, and large tandem available as well as two paddle boards for shared use as well. There are PFD's to fit most sizes available as well. Bringing your own boat is a possibility and something we must discuss directly for separate fee and agreement. There is a full covered shower to wash off your beach and river fun from the day before going inside. Then relax in the Jacuzzi hot tub facing the river and amazing starry nights.
Additional
Dogs are ok there is a $200 pet cleaning fee, just add it during your booking. There is a fenced in yard and we ask they stay on first floor if possible. Upstairs is ok but it's carpeted so easier to damage.
The houses are also great as a winter vacation spot! The hot tub on the covered patio, fire pit and electric fireplace inside all make for a very cozy and warm getaway when it's cold out. There are also several nearby quaint towns to visit and explore, Tappahannock, Irvington, Kilmarnock and many others on the beautiful Rappahannock River.
Guest access
You have the entire two homes and property to yourself. We keep the garages and a couple closets off limits.
Other things to note
Swimming, dock, kayak, and paddle board use are at your own risk and obviously children should always be supervised just as any waterfront property should be treated. There is no diving allowed from the dock.
