Welcome to Shell Cove. This fantastic townhouse has new owners who have made some wonderful improvements to the property, including new furniture, new kitchen counter tops, freshened decor, all new linens, as well as providing 2 bicycles for your use. Shell Cove is in the popular community of Barrier Dunes on Cape San Blas. With 3 bedrooms and 3.5 baths, we comfortably accommodate 7 guests. And being only 150 steps to our beautiful beaches, we believe this will be the perfect spot for your vacation!
Shell Cove has plenty of room to relax and spread out. With two king master suites and an en-suite twin room, this townhome is extremely roomy and is the perfect size for most groups - families, two couples traveling together, a group of ladies on a much-needed getaway, a multi-generational group, or snowbirds looking for a little extra space! Not to mention, we are pet-friendly, so your furry, four-legged family members are welcome too! Whoever you are vacationing with, Shell Cove wants to invite you to share happy times and make lasting memories here.
The first floor welcomes you into an open living/dining/kitchen area that is very spacious and comfortable. As soon as you walk in, you know this is going to be just the right place to enjoy being together. The living area is casual and inviting. There is a large flat screen, smart TV - perfect for relaxing and watching movies, sports, or streaming your favorite shows (you will need your own account) after a full day on the beach. The living area opens onto a great deck with a table and outdoor seating for four, with a gas grill for cooking out. The deck overlooks a nice common green space.
The kitchen is well-stocked with most everything you need if you want to stay in and cook, and then share a meal together. The dining table also provides the perfect opportunity to gather around, "unplug", and have a fun game night.
Also located on the first floor is the laundry closet and a half bath.
On the second floor, Shell Cove provides two nice bedrooms and bathrooms. The first bedroom is a lovely, large king suite. And the other bedroom is a charming twin room with two single beds. There is also one folding twin bed in the closet that can easily be set up to sleep three in this room. Each bedroom has a private bathroom, a wall-mounted flat screen TV, and a private balcony. The arrangement on this level offers plenty of privacy for everyone.
The third floor is a very large master suite, including a double vanity and bathroom with a soaking tub and a separate shower. The suite has a large wall-mounted, flat screen TV, which allows you to relax and watch your own program. This king suite also has a large private deck. From here you can see one of the community fishing ponds. This is a great place to sip a cup of coffee and watch the sun rise over the trees. This floor provides a comfortable oasis to enjoy a little quiet time. (Please note, this is a typical Barrier Dunes unit and does not have a door on this bedroom.)
Once you are settled into Shell Cove, it is just a short 1-2 minute walk to the beautiful beaches of Cape San Blas. There are 4 beach chairs and a cart for your convenience, as well as an outdoor shower for rinsing off when you get back. The owner also provides 2 adult cruiser bikes for your convenience!
Barrier Dunes is a great community for people of all ages. There are two lighted tennis courts, two swimming pools, fishing ponds, a neighborhood playground, as well as safe streets for walking your dog and riding bikes. One pool is centrally located in the complex and the other is gulf front with covered picnic tables and a gazebo overlooking the white sandy beach and sparkling Gulf of Mexico.
