These are located in our Tamih Meadows Campground on the Chwk River in the Tamihi Rec Area. Endless 4x4 roads & world class salmon fishing! Hike, ATV, kayak or swim! Click on the red "+ More" below. The space
THIS IS CABIN #2, "The Fish & Chicks"
This cabin is the end one, facing away from the other two, farthest away from the porta potty & parking, (75 - 100'?) but the most private. Parking for this cabin is not permitted behind the other cabins.
REVIEWS:
We expect you to leave your honest review, rating it as a rustic fishermans cabin, not comparing them to a hotel or motel as that isn't what you're booking.
If you have ignored what we have put on our ad, don't complain about it after! I understand if you feel they don't have enough value or are otherwise not suitable for you, however I would expect that you not want to return
If the cabin doesn't appear to be clean or has damage, please let us know immediately! There is a camp host at the gate, or you can call.
For those that want cheaper, Cabin 3 is the least expensive (it is the middle one & is smaller). As the demand is very high, Fridays & Saturdays are the most expensive. The price goes down in low season as well.
Anyone coming on the property accepts all liability and risks for themselves their guests & and pets.
Guest access
Our acreage is on 2 levels, guests will have access to the lower level. You are welcome to go to our beach or anywhere along the river & explore the property!
Other things to note
There are 2 vehicles permitted per cabin.
REGISTERED GUESTS ONLY!! If you wish to have a visitor, you have to change the amount of people on your reservation, and this must be done IN ADVANCE! You will be charged $25. for each unauthorized visitor and they will be asked to leave the property. Insurance is very expensive & extra people are extra liability, but if booked through Airbnb, they provide their coverage.
Any RV's & tents on the property (including camperized vans), are only permitted in the campground. Campers in the campground must be self-contained (with their own porta potty) and guests from the campground are not permitted in the cabin area, however cabin guests can go into the campground, (It isn't too far from the cabins).
You are not permitted to make reservations for third parties. The person making the reservation must occupy it together with their companions.
You must specify the number of people & pets when making the reservation.
