Positive: - Very good location if you enjoy solitude - in the middle of nature, surrounded by trees and several lakes - Property has everything you need if you are open to a little being a little “low tech” - I was surprised how well the WiFi worked given the remote location. - A lot of nice places around to relax, hike, swim or go fishing! - Wild berries everywhere ( blueberries, lingonberries, raspberries, …) - The next small town (Kirkenær ~ 15km) has everything you need - The cabin has lots of things you need already (like some level of fishing / hiking gear / mug boots / …)
Negative: - The description could have been better. The electricity comes from solar and a generator when needed; No running/warm water - it has to be boiled as needed. - The preceding guests seemingly did not clean up as much as they should have - it was OK though, not terrible. - To reach the place it is an unpaved road of a few kilometers. - There is no cellular signal mostly (but WiFi works well).
