The Carriage House has one ground floor twin bedroom (zip and link) with en-suite facilities and a kingsize double on the first floor; both of which are decorated to a very high standard. Just a 5-minute train journey away, the medieval winding streets play host to cafés, bars and restaurants, and the shopping is some of the best in the country. The country houses of Castle Howard, Nunnington Hall, Beningbrough Hall and Ripley Castle are only a short drive away, as is Harrogate and Yorkshire’s ‘Food Capital’, Malton. The coastal resorts of Scarborough and Whitby are also accessible. A fishing lake and golf can also be found nearby. Shop and pub 300 yards, restaurant ½ mile.
