This second floor apartment has been refurbished in 2019 with lift access and is set within the imposing former Victorian Zetland Hotel. The Zetland Hotel building remains the most prominent feature of Saltburn and there is a sense of grandeur and olden day luxury as you enter this historic building.
The apartment benefits from an open plan living space which is light and spacious and stylishly decorated. There is a kitchen with quartz worktops, and fully equipped with everything you will need to rustle up brunch or supper. It has a bathroom with large bath and shower over, master bedroom with kingsize bed and second bedroom with a double bed with single bunk over. Large windows in all rooms offer stunning views of the sea, and a special treat is to watch the dramatic scene as the colours change on the rugged cliffs beyond, as the sun goes down.
Saltburn is a cosmopolitan seaside resort and fast becoming a very popular place to visit. With an exciting assortment of restaurants and cafés to suit all tastes, there is always something new happening in the town so there is a great buzz around the place. The popular town of Whitby is just 30 minutes’ drive along the coast and is an experience in its own right. Home of majestic Whitby Abbey, made famous by Bram Stoker’s ’Dracula’, cobbled back streets, quirky shops and the replica of Captain Cook’s ship, HMS Endeavour. There are many year round festivals and events held here, from a regatta to a Goth festival. Alternatively, take a sea fishing trip on one of the many tourist boats.
