Quietly set in the pretty Llyfni Valley, Yr Hen Beudy Bach (The Old Little Stable) is a tiny but perfectly formed detached stone cottage in the historic Welsh Valleys village of Llangynwyd. Conveniently set midway between Cardiff and Swansea it’s an ideal base for a holiday or touring. Locally there is brilliant cycling, walking from the doorstep and bird watching, yet both the Brecon Beacons and great beaches, including surf beaches on the Gower and the Glamorgan Heritage Coast, are also easily reached. The local designer discount shopping complex is not to be missed. Shop 0.5 miles, pub 300 yards and restaurants 0.75 miles. There is a futon bed located in the gallery above the main bedroom, accessed via a pulldown ladder. This is accessed via a ladder so is more suited to an older child.
