This cosy, quirky, semi-detached holiday property lies in a fine position, overlooking the attractive marina in the village of Findochty. The unusually shaped rooms are comfortably furnished, and there is a sitting-out area to the rear, where you can enjoy a drink whilst watching the harbour activity. The local pub, which also serves food, and a selection of shops are a short walk away. The Boathouse offers an excellent base from which to explore the Moray Firth and Aberdeenshire, with the fishing towns and villages of Cullen, Portknockie and Banff within easy reach. Enjoy some excellent walks along the Moray Coastal Trail, to the neighbouring villages of Cullen and Portknockie, where the natural wave-cut arch, known as Bow Fiddle Rock, can be seen. Alternatively, take a boat trip from nearby Buckie and look out for dolphins, porpoises, whales and a large variety of seabirds. Other activities available locally include fishing, sailing and diving. There are many whisky trails, historic castles and gardens to explore, from the spectacular Findlater Castle, to Duff House in Banff. Fishing available nearby. Beach 200 yards.
