Built within its own secluded olive grove of just over an acre in size, ensuring absolute privacy yet Hestia Villa is just over a Km from the tourist town of Kalyves and one of the best beaches in Western Crete at Almyrida is but a few minutes away. Hestia Villa stands alone with its own 11m x 4m heated pool, no other property shares the site or looks onto it in any way.
Impressive glass doors open onto extensive balconies overlooking the magnificent infinity pool, olive groves and sea. At the side of the villa there is a shaded seating area, perfect for reading a book and relaxation.
Hestia Villa is well placed for exploring the old Venetian ports of Chania and Rethymnon, the Minion Palace at Knossos, the Limnoupolis waterpark, the unique beach at Elafonisi or walking the Samaria Gorge.

30Mb satellite Internet with Wi-Fi, air-conditioning, washing machine, dishwasher, BBQ, 2x LED TVs, Blu-Ray, DVD, CD player and iron. In addition to Greek terrestrial TV, the Satellite TV receives about 800 channels from Astra 1 and Hotbird in many languages. Also included are a laser printer to print out those boarding passes and a phone with a UK landline number (available for guest use) so you can avoid expensive mobile fees yet stay in touch with family and friends.
The swimming pool is usable throughout the rented season, though the actual temperature will depend on how much sun is available to heat the water. You can expect the heating to provide a pool perhaps 5c-6c hotter than others in the area and up to about 30c, certainly it will be one of the warmest on Crete. In May 2015 pool temps reached around 27c-28c, which is comfortable for swimming and other local pools were reported to be 22c and quite cold.
Hestia Villa is a new build, the gardens were planted in February 2015 and are maturing nicely, the recently pruned olive trees are starting to return. The pictures shown were taken in February 2015 and will be updated periodically.
