Positive: Our host was exceptionally helpful and welcoming. He gave us very useful information on museums and tours. The property was an apartment on the top floor of a modern block, which made it light and airy, and it has a balcony. It had two bathrooms which was very useful for our party. The apartment was well supplied with breakfast items - cereal, milk, tea and coffee. It was five minutes walk from the nearest metro (Artilleros), and about 20 minutes from central Madrid, and 40 from the airport by metro. The Madrid metro is extensive and made it very easy to get around. We had a wonderful stay and would use this place again. Madrid is a great destination and everybody we met was friendly and welcoming.
Summary: Excellent stay, excellent host. A lovely first visit to this engaging city.
