Situated in the quiet rural village of Sheshader with breathtaking sea views across the Minch to the mountains of the Scottish highlands. Only 15 minute drive away from Stornoway town, this lovely 5 bedroom house is fully equipped and sleeps up to 10 people. It is double glazed throughout with thermostat controlled oil central heating makes this a cosy retreat all year round. Plenty of parking space to rear of house, private gardens surrounding the house. Ground floor: Large open hallway with wooden staircase, landline telephone, Wi-Fi (34MB) fibre internet and printer available. All rooms are accessed from the main hallway. Large lounge with relaxing seating for 10 people, 40 inch TV, DVD player and Ipod docking station. Real effect electric fireplace and large windows looking out to sea. Large kitchen/diner with oven, hob, microwave, slow cooker, kettle, toaster and dishwasher. 2 dining tables to comfortably seat 10-12, both areas are heated by underfloor heating. French doors open out from the dining area onto a beautiful large decking area with picnic bench to enjoy the stunning panoramic views. Downstairs there is also a kingsize bedroom with dressing table. There is a downstairs shower room with large walk-in deluge shower and underfloor heating. The utility room is equipped with washing machine, tumble dryer, ironing board, iron and a toilet. Upstairs there is a superking bedroom with dressing table, a double bedroom and 2 twin rooms with 2 single beds and digital TV's in each. There is also a family bathroom with whirlpool bath, overbath electric shower. A perfect retreat to explore the Isles of Lewis and Harris and all they have to offer. We regret we cannot accept bookings from stag/hen/birthday parties.
