Summary: The good first - House is beautiful. The sunset scenery is gorgeous. Nothing beats the first evening of our stay....if i could post the sunset picture i would. The drive to the house is okay - typical East Texas homes that look run-down and lived in but its still pretty. Not as sketchy as some areas. The kitchen is well-equipped. I did wind up having to buy some cling-wrap since I do cook every meal while we vacation and never eat out. Not sure how sharp the knives are since i brought mine but they do have knife sharpeners. The BAD - Wifi pwd was wrong in the check-in email. Emailed and was given some run-around replies - turns out the pwd at the bottom of the router is correct which we figured out on our own. PLUMBING - THIS WAS THE MAIN READON FOR THE 3 STAR RATING. They mention that plumbing is "sensitive" in their listing but they dont tell you that its extremely problematic. We spent our vacation stressing over "will it clog" if we took a pee this time. Worst part hubby ended up going to Walmart twice to use their restrooms because it clogged up so often. Plunger provided was ripped - we bought another one. The main issue - property manager apparently dispatched a plumber who never apppeared the entire time we were there! And they didnt bother to check in with us if they did service us. Other problems - property needs TLC. Dishwasher is broken/lights by living area not working/more lighting - its cave-like after dark.
