Summary: I arrived at the property on one of the hottest days of the year and when I tried to turn on the AC I couldnt get it to work. I called the owner Scott, who unapologetically told me the air conditioner was broken and it would be fixed "next week." He made no effort to notify my of the problem, bring in a portable AC ot do anything else other than to stick me with it. I told him I would not stay in a unit without AC and his attitude was tough, "you have a contract." I told him I was not staying and I wanted my money back and he said "No refunds" and "you owe me", meaning he wanted me to pay the remaining balance. I left the property and told him I would challenge it with VRBO to get my money back which I did. Over the next 3 days he resorted to bargaining "you can have a week in the fall", gaslinghtimg
