DIRECT TO ROOM CHECK-IN: At 1206 The Palms, you go directly to your private condo without ever needing to check in. The same is true upon check-out. 1206 The Palms has a private entrance and stairway, and we do not share an entry area with any other unit.
NOW THE FUN STUFF: The reviews say it all. One of the finest vacation rentals on Maui, this condo is situated in the coveted inner courtyard of the renowned Palms at Wailea. We strive to provide everything you need. Travel light, as we provide most of what you need while offering excellent access to all of Maui and its best beaches.
Location, location, location - Centrally located within the Wailea resort area, enjoy this almost 1,200 sf FULLY air-conditioned inner courtyard condo with two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a gourmet kitchen, and a private outdoor lanai that is only a 1-minute drive or 5-minute walk from world-famous beaches and snorkeling. Our favorite daily activity is walking the two-mile coastal path in Wailea, which also borders world-class resorts like the Grand Wailea and Four Seasons. There is no other walking path like this on the entire island of Maui.
Located in the Wailea resort area and surrounded by upscale restaurants, hotels, shops, and golf courses, which you would expect on Maui. This condo is also just a few minutes' drive from Kihei, offering a variety of restaurants, shops, and grocery stores at all levels. This location provides excellent access to Maui and is just a 20-minute drive from the airport, as well as Costco, Target, and other major chain stores. We are happy to provide recommendations for our favorite restaurants, tourist activities, and lesser-known secluded areas of Maui.

Within the resort, 1206 The Palms is situated on the sought-after inner courtyard and offers direct views of the large landscaped lawn, garden, and meandering creek, with vistas of the mountains, the beautiful grounds for which The Palms is known, and a slight glimpse of the ocean from the private 300-square-foot lanai. There is nothing like waking up at dawn and enjoying your favorite morning drink while watching the sunrise over the mountains – and then returning in the evening to watch the sunset over the ocean while enjoying your favorite evening drink! A short one-minute walk along the stream and through the gardens brings you to the pool, Jacuzzi, and resort amenities, but ensures that the unit is not too close to the pool noise.
Do you want to entertain? This unit comes with a fully furnished kitchen that serves up to twelve and an Insta-hot, featuring filtered cold and hot water. No kitchen is complete without a quality coffee maker that won't disappoint. Grind your own Kona coffee beans using the coffee grinder we provide, and utilize the Bialetti coffee maker, which comes with a built-in coffee filter. With the outdoor wet bar and pass-through sliding window wall connecting the kitchen to the lanai, the outdoor space and the kitchen blend seamlessly. The lanai features a covered section that includes an outdoor dining table and chairs, as well as an open-air family room-style seating area, allowing you to bask in the beautiful sunshine that this dry side of Maui is known for.
Visiting the pool and beach is a must, and we provide all the essentials so that you can travel light. Four Tommy Bahama beach chairs, six large beach towels, multiple coolers, a beach umbrella (3 currently), and, for the more adventurous, boogie boards.
Want to enjoy the incredible views and whale watching that Maui has to offer? We hope so. We provide four pairs of binoculars. Now, everyone in your party (no more kids arguing) can have binoculars when they want them. And perhaps you are not entirely sure what you want to do. We enjoy helping people plan their trips.
Open the sliding glass wall and join the family and dining room to the lanai and outdoor wet bar. Or watch the new 65" 4K TV that floats on the wall so that it can be seen from the family room, kitchen, and lanai if desired. Each bedroom features a flat-screen TV with a built-in DVD player. And every TV is equipped with ROKU's, making them all smart TVs. You will have access to YouTube TV, Hulu, MLB TV, and loads of free TV and movie channels that you can record, pause, and rewind. You are also free to access your own Netflix, Prime, and other smart TV apps.
Need to get a little work done, play online, or print your boarding passes? Free Wifi is included, and we also have a small laptop location that has a direct connection to high-speed wired internet access, an HP laser printer, and two USB wall charging plugs.
Looking for peace and quiet – this second-floor unit ensures there will be no noise from someone staying above you, and the inner courtyard keeps you far away from traffic and parking lot noise. While many of the condos at The Palms feature sliding louvered doors that allow noise to pass between the family room and guest bedroom, this unit has been upgraded to provide two fully private and quiet bedrooms.
The master suite features large windows, the size of sliding doors, that open entirely, providing views of the grounds, mountains, and ocean. The master bath is fully remodeled and is a one-of-a-kind bath that rivals any. A granite walk-in shower with etched glass doors and a private toilet area – this bathroom also includes a custom-built closet system, in-room safe, custom cabinets with granite counters, and a makeup area. We even provide a scale for those of you who are brave enough to weigh yourself while on vacation. But we recommend against it.
The guest bedroom features two twin beds (or can be converted to a king (let us know the setup you prefer and we will accomodate you) with a provided conversion kit), a custom closet system, a large window wall, and access to the hall bath, which matches the quality of the master bath. Granite counters and a walk-in granite shower with custom etched glass doors make for a unique guest bathroom.
Wanting to bring small children or infants with you, we make that easy as well. We offer plastic dishes, cups, and utensils designed explicitly for children. And for infants, we also provide a Graco Pack' n Play Reversible Napper and Changer Playard.
Our goal is to make your visit easy, enjoyable, cost-effective, and as carefree as possible. We want you to travel light and have everything you need. We provide hand soap, a blow dryer, and a curling iron for both bathrooms. The washer and dryer are full-size and include all the soap and dryer sheets that you will need for your visit. We provide hand and dish soap, dishwasher detergent, and kitchen towels for your entire stay, not just a "starter pack" as offered by other places. Have you ever stayed somewhere and wondered just how clean things are? All linens are white, ensuring they are clean, and multiple sets of each are provided.
Regardless of how you look at it, this unit provides everything you need for a cost-effective, clean, and carefree vacation.
