Positive: Gorgeous little site with 5 tents on and campfire provisions with the wine tasting room is really lovely. The tent stood up well as we did have a bad storm. The tent was well equipped and comfy bed.
Negative: We stayed on a Tuesday and Wednesday evening at end May and we were the only ones there. I understand it is busier at weekends and Thursdays to Sunday they have lots of people there and cook wood fired pizza and with the bar it sounds a lot of fun. Even if we had have had other people staying we could have sat round a campfire with them but I am not sure how they can let you know if no-one is there then the whole thing is shut really. Mike was great and we did taste and buy some wine with him and saw him as he worked on the vineyard. Was lovely to chat with him. The road noise is the other thing. It is very close to the 290 and even though you are in the country the road is very busy and noisy when in a tent!
Summary: Very cute camp which we liked very much. Johnson City we loved - very local.
