This beautiful four-person holiday home is located on the edge of the beautiful Frisian village of Eastermar, and yet wonderfully free. From your terrace you have a view over a beautiful nature reserve. At the holiday home you can get on the water with the sloop that is for rent from the owner. Sail within 300 meters and you are already on the Burgumermeer or on the lake "de Leijen". Eastermar is a picturesque Frisian village with several nice shops, a bakery and nice restaurants and terraces. This holiday home is also an excellent base for exploring Friesland on foot, by car, bicycle or boat.
Layout
Cosy and comfortably furnished living room with lots of light. There is a dining area and a sitting area with a cosy fireplace and a TV. Through the patio doors, you enter the terrace with garden furniture. The open kitchen has the necessary appliances, such as a fridge-freezer, a five-burner gas cooker, a small oven, dishwasher, filter coffee maker and kettle. There are two bedrooms, one with a large double bed and the second bedroom has two single beds. The bathroom has a shower, toilet and a vanity unit with double sinks. The bathroom can be accessed via one of the bedrooms. To offer more privacy, there is a folding sliding wall that can be used to create a hallway. Outside you will find a spacious garden and a lovely terrace with various garden furniture. You can go fishing close to the holiday home.

According to many, the area around the Bergumermeer is the most beautiful in Friesland. The area east and northeast of the Bergumermeer forms the core area of the National Landscape The Northern Frisian Woods. Nowhere else will you find so many different landscapes at such a small distance. For a fun day out, there are many possibilities: pay a visit to Aqua Zoo or chameleon village Terherne. Or maybe you would like to learn all about the wooden shoe? Then there is the clog museum in Noordbergum. Are you more interested in shipping? Then visit the Skûtsjemuseum in Eernewoude. For a day of culture and good food, you can of course visit the cosy towns and villages nearby.
