Surrounded by the rolling Sussex countryside, you will find this tucked away converted barn just off a nice country lane. An ideal base for winter or summer. You can bring your furry friend too.
The owners have designed the cottage with light and space in mind and given it a contemporary feel with a traditional twist. The airy and very generous open plan living/kitchen area is completed by a lovely cooking island and breakfast bar. The bathroom with free standing modern bath, walk in power shower is pure luxury and interlinks into the equally sumptuous bedroom. There is also a separate dressing room for your clothes and luggage.
After a day of exploring, walking or shopping in Hastings, Battle, Rye or Tenterden what better place to relax in the summer than in your own garden; just put your feet up and listen to bird song while drinking a nice beverage. Or pop over to the local pub or restaurant, both a short walk away.

Summary: Ivy Cottage is a very comfortable place to stay. It is a spacious property with good facilities, particularly the bathroom with walk in shower and freestanding bath. The bedroom is lovely although the bed could have been firmer for us. Lovely garden too, which our dog enjoyed. Very well located for sightseeing in 1066 country and further around Sussex, the coast and inland. Also liked the dog friendly local pub for eating and the award winning butcher, not to mention being able to walk to the vineyard!
