Blairgowrie is the gateway to Glenshee, which offers year-round activities such as skiing, golfing, mountain biking, abseiling, hang gliding, and paragliding or for some retail therapy, the cities of Perth, Dundee or Edinburgh as well as the House of Bruar and Pitlochry are well worth a visit. The Angus Glens offers excellent walking opportunities, or you can enjoy the sandy beaches that stretch along the east coast.
