2,300sf antique home with large lawn, perennial gardens and 160' beach. Our home was built in 1849, and is a classic Maine "cottage". Located next to Fort Foster, a 1720's historic landmark on Pepperrell Cove. South facing views overlook the cove, Piscataqua river, private beach, and three lighthouses. The main floor of the house offers a kitchen with adjacent breakfast room, gas cooktop, electric oven, slate, marble and concrete counter tops, 2 sinks and dishwasher. The dining room seats 6 and opens onto the screen porch. Living room has a couch, chaise, two leather chairs and a wood burning fireplace. The sunroom/tv room has a large comfy sofa, two chairs, table with two chairs, and piano, with south facing views over the cove. The powder room has a wc and sink. A large south facing screened porch has a dining table for 6, separate seating area for 6, and another casual table. The outdoor deck overlooks beautiful rock gardens, fruit trees and the beach, and has a glass table with umbrella and seating for 6. Steep stairs lead to second floor. Offers three bedrooms total; Bedroom#1 has a very comfortable queen bed, closet and chair, high ceilings and ocean views. Bedroom#2 has a twin bed, south facing/ window seat, bureau, chair and ocean views. Bedroom#3 has a double bed, bureau, chair, with north and east views. One bathroom has a tub/shower, wc and sink. The second bathroom has a wc, sink, and shower. New washer/dryer is on the second floor. The yard features natural rock gardens , perrenials, lovely lawns. Stone walls and brick walkways surround the house. There is a large lawn area for croquette, bocci, etc(included). Three kayaks are included on the beach head for tenant use. The beach is a Maine beach, being a combination of rock and some sand at the low tide level.
