We are proud to host this beautiful 2200 sq ft VRBO first level apartment at our lovely mountain ESTATE home (basement under terrace level, so you are not in the basement). When you pull in the gate, off Ridley road, you will feel the serenity and privacy of this wonderful 25+ acre estate with a private 3 acre stocked lake, near the national forest and streams, feel free to bring your fishing gear! We are located just down the street from wonderful Wolf Mountain Winery and close to 6 other wonderful wineries. This rental offers upscale accommodations in a very convenient location, less than 8 minutes from Dahlonega square. Near foothills of Appalachian mountains with multiple scenic hiking locations nearby. Birchwood Lake Estate, with it's beautiful sunset and moon reflections on the lake, is a perfect setting to visit friends and /or family, attend weddings, hike, and taste wine. Birchwood offers the following amenities: Refreshment bar (with coffee, hot chocolate, teas and condiments), microwave, toaster, refrigerator, wine cooler, wine glasses, coffee mugs, french press (for boiling eggs or making tea), coffee maker and sink! This is not a complete kitchen. An ironing board and iron are available for guests along with make up mirrors and hair dryers. The use of a washer & dryer is available upon request. The gathering room features a TV with satellite, including Netflix, as well as a large comfortable lounging area. Wireless internet connection is also available. Three lovely bedrooms overlook the lake, and two of the bedrooms have access to a private balcony. There is a gas grill also available for cooking. (Please see the image of the approximately 2300+ square feet floor plan for more details) Check in time is 3:00 PM, check-out by 11AM. 7th person is additional $30 per night. Standard rate for holidays during week. 4 car parking maximum. No smoking and no pets please. Please note: Rooms are available at short notice (24 hour), 2 person occupancy, Tiger bedroom has 3 person occupancy. For stays exceeding 3 nights, please send inquiry on site to confirm availability. If we are not booked we can accept last minute reservations. Birchwood Lake Estate is located only a half mile from Wolf Mountain Winery, 5 miles from the Dahlonega square and convenient to six wonderful wineries as well as the North Georgia Premium Outlet Mall and upscale restaurants. The Chamber of Commerce in downtown Dahlonega offers free tourist information and maps for those interested in activities. (We also offer maps/information on request). Public transportation is also available through our local taxi service Mama's Taxi for those interested.
