Positive: The view is outstanding! It certainly was the best aspect of the place. Sitting on the balcony can be a, treat. The apartment does have some important amenities such as an equipped kitchen, a hair dryer, a washing machine. For a couple, 2 couples or a family with up to 2 children it could be ok.
Negative: We were 5 people (2 adults and 3 teenage children), as specified in the reservation, but the apartment is only suitable for 4.  There are two double beds in two separate bedrooms, but the opening sofa in one bedroom is broken and dirty, so it cannot be used, and the Host told us to sleep the 3rd child on another sofa in the living room kitchen which has no air-conditioning, a sofa that is not suitable for sleeping.   Eventually, after one night, we left for another hotel to enjoy a proper night's sleep for all of us. Apart from that basic malfunction, when we arrived, there was a bucket with dirty black water left in the bathroom. The shower room itself is a very narrow space, oddly designed, so when showering, it's impossible not to keep water away from the toilet seat area.  A simple shower curtain would be effective. People with luggage and a car should also be aware that the public paid parking is accessible by stairs, but you need to know in advance the specific location of the stairs in order to know exactly where to park. Otherwise, you can find yourself walking more than needed. When we moved to another hotel in this town, we learned that other properties (with similar prices) take your license plate's number to allow you to enter the old town, just to comfortably arrive with your luggage at the location before parking it outside. The communication on behalf of the host was not effective at all, to say the least,and does not meet the standards that I usually find in similar accommodations. No interest, apology, or concern was shown to our issues with the missing bed, and he called only to mistakenly ask for payment, though everything was already prepaid through booking.com. A welcome note or email with some basic instructions as the exact parking location, wi-fi instructions, would be basic. Otherwise, a real face-to-face presence at check-in is a valid expectation. You can see that as a reviewer, I tend to give mostly 9 or 10.
