This fantastic mountain chalet has the most stunning timber frame interior, open concept with the loft over looking the main room. The location is hard to beat with basically ski in/ ski out, minutes from the main Kicking Horse village. Note- states 4 bedroom is actually 3 bedroom with a king bed in loft.
If you travel with young kids we have you covered with baby & toddler items. High chair, booster seat, pack and play, toys books, bath toys and steps for the littles to get to sink or toilet.
First off the location and views is hard to beat. From both sides you have mountain views, huge windows to see all angles. The location is just up the hill from the village and close to all the hiking trails just out the back door. There are doors at the front, side and back of the house to enjoy access. We have two patios. One off the master bedroom facing the ski resort that gets the mid-day sun. The second is off the living room and has patio furniture to enjoy in the summer. BBQ available as well.
The house is advertised as a four bedroom to help display the bed arrangements. The room that states the king and sofa bed is a semi private room as it is in the loft. When you walk up the stairs the sitting room has the sofa bed that can be made into a bed with all the bedding set up in the ottoman beside it. Then the king bed is on the other side of the loft above the living room, outside the master bedroom entrance. You would likely share the master bedroom bathroom. This king bed is the most comfortable and has the best morning views. Looking out the massive windows to the valley and sunrise.
You won’t need a single thing in the kitchen. Fully stocked with dishes, glass wear, cooking pots and pans, serving plates, and Tupperware. Two coffee makers; keurig machine and coffee pot with pods provided for keurig. Kids plates and spill less cups etc. Lots of extra spices and condiments left in the fridge to enjoy.
I pride myself on organic cotton sheets and very comfortable beds. Most have mattress toppers for extra softness. Lots of extra fleece blankets and bedding if you need more layers.
You have access to the whole house, hot tub, patios, bbq, laundry and backyard. The only part of the house not available is the garage.
We love the side door entrance for skiers to use and keep all the ski gear out of the main door area. Lots of space in the closet to hang gear to dry after a fun day playing in the snow. Same goes for biking helmets etc.

Up at the resort you can walk or bike everywhere. The drive way will fit up to 3/4 vehicles. Please don’t park on the street if there are more vehicles. There is lots of parking in the day lots by the day lodge.

- Provided some coffee to get you started
- Kids toys, books, high chair and booster seat available
- Comfortable beds and lots of extra soft blankets to keep you cozy
Only ski boots are allowed in side boot room area, never walk through the house with boots on. EVER.
No bikes inside, lock up set up at the back of the house
Absolutely no smoking indoors, if you do smoke outside pick up butts, don’t flick them on property
No partying, our neighbours know us and will report it
Follow hot tub rules
Prefer parking only in drive way. Should hold 3-4 vehicles If more vehicles please park in day lot not on street
Put garbage in garbage house across street and take recycling to depot by pioneer chair before departing
